The purpose of this review research paper is to explore the role of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in healthcare, specifically focusing on how they improve patient monitoring and enhance telemedicine services. The theoretical framework of this paper encompasses concepts from healthcare technology, IoT applications, telemedicine practices, and patient care management. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to analyze the current state of IoT applications in healthcare, including patient monitoring devices, data analytics platforms, remote diagnostics tools, and telemedicine solutions. Various methodologies and case studies were reviewed to understand the implementation and impact of IoT in healthcare settings. The findings reveal that IoT technologies have significantly improved patient monitoring by enabling real-time data collection, continuous health tracking, early detection of medical issues, and personalized treatment plans. Telemedicine services have also been revolutionized with IoT, allowing remote consultations, virtual care delivery, and improved patient outcomes. This paper discusses the research implications of IoT in healthcare, highlighting its potential to enhance healthcare accessibility, reduce healthcare costs, and improve patient outcomes. The practical implications include the adoption of IoT solutions by healthcare providers, policymakers, and technology developers to create more efficient and patient-centric healthcare systems. Social implications focus on the impact of IoT on healthcare equity, patient empowerment, and the transformation of traditional healthcare delivery models. This research paper contributes to the existing literature by providing a comprehensive analysis of IoT applications in healthcare, emphasizing their role in patient monitoring and telemedicine. The paper also highlights the potential of IoT to drive innovation, improve healthcare quality, and address healthcare challenges in the digital era.Metrics
