Abstract

Due to the employment and job opportunities available in the city, there is a constant flow of people from the villages to the city. It is natural for rural people to be attracted to the various comforts and conveniences of the city. So this process of urbanisation has been going on since ancient times, but urbanisation really took off in the world only after the industrial revolution. Considering the increasing nature of urbanisation, this question has become important from an administrative and sociological point of view. Due to increasing urbanisation, housing is the biggest challenge for the population there. Rising housing prices compared to the incomes of the urban middle class have made it difficult for people in the lower income group to afford affordable housing. So they live in places where they are deprived of proper ventilation, light, water supply, sewage, etc. Urbanisation is considered to be the social, economic, and cultural driver of inclusive progress. But urbanisation brings with it many new problems.
