Abstract

To make an ideal citizen of an independent India, quality education and the minimum expected economic equality are needed. But even after seventy-five years of India's independence, we do not seem to have succeeded in this. Of course, this is a fact. We expected all-round development from the education system we adopted. That is, along with knowledge, physical education, sociability, various arts, business skills and actions, moral and character development, etc., among the citizens of the country. I thought it would be included. But if we consider the current situation, it seems that we have failed in this regard. Education is not knowledge that is crammed into the head, confused, and digested. Education should give direction to life by imbibing ideas. Manhood should be born from it, and character should be formed. We are all engaged in a competition for numerical marks. Missing a real personality. Today, our student looks frustrated. But if we really want to create responsible citizens today, it is definitely necessary to seriously consider life skills.
