Abstract

Objectives: Progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) is being hindered by gender inequalities in education, which persists to a great extent even in developing countries. The reasons behind these discrepancies and their impact on the SDGS are investigated in this study. In order to promote gender equality in education it wants to give insight into policy interventions and community engagement strategies. Methodology: The study checks out the effects of gender gaps in schooling using a research theory and a method. Literature reviews bring together first-hand and second-hand data. Finding and analyzing main ideas is what thematic analysis does. Result: Sociocultural variables including established gender stereotypes and early marriage habits affect gender gaps in schooling. Institutional obstacles exacerbate these disparities, making them more complicated. Girls struggle to learn due to poverty and resource constraints. Policy actions that promote girls’ education and solve these issues must be founded on evidence. Conclusion: To fix the gender gap in schooling, we need to change policies, get involved in the community, and give women more economic power. To achieve gender equality in education, we need to create lessons, grants, and safe places to learn that take gender and surroundings into account.
