Children are a precious gift to humanity, and childhood is an important phase of development that should hold the potential and future development of society. Children who bring up with their own capacities, like their intellectual, physical, and social health, should be responsible and productive members of society. But due to the financial crisis, children are forced to waive educational and take a job for their own or family's betterment. But most of the time, they are exploited and enraged in hazardous conditions. The age range of 6–14 years are defined as childhood; when the children are involved in the hazardous condition of work, is called Child Labour. Child labour is a very crucial issue that is destroying children's lives. In recent times, India has faced the highest numbers of children who are engaged in child labour. India with the largest population, being the cause of unemployment, poverty, a large families and inadequate income, are forcing child to engage in child labour. The strong effect of child labour is that children spend most of the time in prohibited work and deprived of their education as well as their childhood. Child labour is also deprived of accessing the benefits of education and fundamental rights to attend school. Child labour thus affects the child's health and safety and destroys their childhood.Metrics
