Abstract

Face-recognition is the process of identifying the facial features of a person. Human face measurements differ from person to person. Face- recognition includes face-detection and the concept of capturing real-time data and storing that as a data set. The system will be trained through the stored data set. Face recognition will be useful to identify people and it can be achieved through biometrics. So, this process must ensure accuracy and minimum processing time. Face-recognition technology is growing so fast. It has been used in forensics, criminal identification., airport security, and controlled access. There are many algorithms and techniques available to do face-recognition. Real-time face-recognition is addressed in this paper using the Local-Binary-Patterns-Histogram (LBPH) algorithm-architecture.
