Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has emerged as a critical aspect of contemporary business operations, reflecting a commitment to sustainable and ethical practices. This study investigates the CSR initiatives and practices implemented by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in Vadodara District, exploring their impact on both the corporation and the local community. Through a comprehensive analysis of ONGC's CSR framework, this research aims to identify the key initiatives, strategies, and challenges faced by the organization in aligning its business goals with social and environmental responsibility. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including interviews, surveys, and case studies, the study assesses the effectiveness of ONGC's CSR programs in fostering positive societal change and enhancing the corporation's reputation.
