Abstract

This research paper investigates the relationship between performance appraisal practices and employee productivity within the dynamic context of the Manufacturing Industry in Vadodara. The study aims to contribute valuable insights into the effectiveness of performance appraisal systems in enhancing employee performance and overall organizational productivity. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative survey data and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive perspectives from both employees and management. The study evaluates the existing performance appraisal frameworks implemented in manufacturing firms, focusing on their design, frequency, and alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, it explores the perception and experiences of employees regarding the impact of performance appraisal on their motivation, job satisfaction, and commitment to organizational objectives.
