Abstract

This review paper examines the impact of mental health initiatives on employee productivity in various organizational settings. Mental health is increasingly recognized as a crucial factor in overall employee well-being and organizational success. The paper explores different types of mental health initiatives, such as employee assistance programs, mental health awareness campaigns, and mindfulness training, and their effects on employee productivity. It also discusses the challenges and best practices associated with implementing these initiatives. The findings suggest that mental health initiatives can significantly improve employee productivity by reducing absenteeism, presenteeism, and turnover rates. However, the effectiveness of these initiatives depends on various factors, including organizational culture, leadership support, and the accessibility of mental health resources. The paper concludes with recommendations for organizations looking to enhance their mental health initiatives to promote employee well-being and productivity.
