Abstract

Digital payment is one of the latest trends in payment industry. The days are gone when cash used to be the most important thing utilized for exchanges. Banks and financial companies have spread awareness among people about non-cash payment methods. Digital payments are done with the help of technology. There is no wonder that these payment methods gained popularity in technologically advanced countries. It is still in developing form in India. This is because of unfamiliarity and lack of technical knowledge. The research aimed at analyzing present status of digital payments in India. It also tried to study factors which are responsible for the growth of digital payments in India. This research has conducted through primary and secondary sources.
