IMPACT OF AI ON LEARNING OUTCOMES: DECADE OF INSIGHTS FROM WEB OF SCIENCE PUBLICATIONS

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on learning outcomes based on a comprehensive analysis of 610 publications from the Web of Science database spanning from 2015 to 2024. The study employs co-occurrence analysis in VOS viewer software to analyze language, affiliations, publishers, countries, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), research areas, Web of Science categories, document types, publication years, and keywords. Findings suggest that AI has significantly influenced learning outcomes across various domains, including education, psychology, computer science, and neuroscience. The paper discusses implications for policymakers, educators, and researchers in harnessing AI to enhance learning outcomes in diverse educational settings.
