ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS OF AI IN EDUCATION

Abstract

AI-based technology has become a part and parcel of our daily lives. It is used and applied in classrooms globally and the use has become increasing. In education, different techniques and technologies on AI are being used in teaching-learning, curriculum development, methodologies, evaluation procedures etc. Some of these are known as popular teaching aids. AI-based education is growing and improving rapidly, though the ethical sides of its use do not get due attention. Ethical considerations are important parts of its applications and this must be looked into. Strategies and guidelines should be framed by experts and policy makers. Otherwise, its use will not be beneficial for humanity as a whole.
