Abstract

Human-wildlife conflict (HWC) poses significant challenges globally, impacting biodiversity conservation, human livelihoods, and socio-ecological systems. This review research paper explores mitigation approaches to address HWC, focusing on strategies that promote coexistence between humans and wildlife. The paper synthesizes existing literature to analyze the effectiveness of various mitigation measures, assesses their implications for conservation and community well-being, and identifies key challenges and opportunities in HWC management. Through a comprehensive review, this paper aims to provide insights into sustainable coexistence strategies that balance conservation goals with human needs, contributing to informed decision-making and policy development in wildlife management.
