The proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has revolutionized many aspects of daily life, yet it has also introduced unprecedented security challenges. This review paper examines the evolving landscape of IoT security, encompassing the vulnerabilities inherent in IoT ecosystems and the emerging threats posed by malicious actors. We analyze the fundamental challenges of securing IoT devices, protocols, and data transmission against various attack vectors such as malware, botnets, and data breaches. Furthermore, we explore current and proposed solutions including encryption techniques, access control mechanisms, and anomaly detection systems aimed at mitigating these risks. Through a comprehensive synthesis of recent research and industry developments, this paper provides a structured overview of the state-of-the-art in IoT security strategies, highlighting key areas for future research and emphasizing the critical importance of addressing security concerns to foster the trustworthy deployment and utilization of IoT technologies.Published
