Abstract

Adolescence is a pivotal developmental stage, prompting researchers to explore the roles of spirituality and psychological well-being in youths' lives. This study aimed to assess their correlation and gender differences among 100 high school students aged 13 to 18 years from Agartala, Tripura . Findings revealed no significant gender gap in spirituality but a notable difference in psychological well-being. The positive link between spirituality and well-being emphasizes spirituality's universal significance. Gender-specific factors impacting mental health suggest tailored interventions are necessary. The study advocates for nurturing spiritual practices to bolster adolescents' resilience and coping mechanisms. Overall, it underscores the intricate relationship between spirituality, mental well-being, and gender during adolescence. Acknowledging these dynamics, policymakers and educators can devise comprehensive strategies to support youths' holistic development and resilience against life's challenges.
