A STUDY OF STRESS AMONG SCHOOL STUDENTS OF RANCHI

Abstract

The present study was conducted on 40 school students of Ranchi district selected by 2 x 2 stratified random sampling. The factors of stratification were gender (boys and girls) and class (class 8 and 10) from Ranchi district. The main objective was: To assess the extent of stress among school students of Ranchi. The stress was measured by stress inventory for school students. Crosstabs statistical technique was applied for analysis of data. The results revealed that the most of the students were found to have low extent of stress.
