A PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDY OF SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE AMONG SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The present study was conducted on 320 school students of Ranchi district selected by 2 x 2 x 2 stratified random sampling. The factors of stratification were gender (boys and girls), and class (class 10 and 12) and stress level (high and low) from Ranchi district. The main objective was: To assess the extent of spiritual intelligence between school students of high and low-stress groups. The spiritual intelligence was measured by spiritual intelligence scale and the stress was measured by stress inventory for school students. Crosstabs statistical technique was applied for analysis of data. The results revealed that the spiritual intelligence of low stress group students had high than high stress group students.
