Environmental Education (EE) is a multifaceted approach for teaching and learning that aims to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world, fosters a sense of responsibility and proactive participation in environmental management for future generation. This paper explores the importance of Environmental Education in developing awareness, knowledge, attitudes, skills, responsibility and tackling behaviors of natural resources that promote sustainable practices and protect the environment for future use. By integrating Environmental Education into the school education curriculum - higher education curriculum through interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary approaches, hands-on learning experiences, community engagement programme, and critical thinking, educators can be empowered themselves and they can impart the Environmental Education to students to solve, reduce, and minimize ecological challenges which they are facing day-to-day life. Environmental Education also plays a key role in supporting global environmentally sustainable goals, improving health conditions and universal wellbeing and promoting social justice in the society. As the whole world are facing increasing environmental problems, that is why implementing comprehensive use of Environmental Education and effective Environmental Education is now essential to shape a sustainable future for all.Published
