INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS FOR PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Abstract

In recent years, the global community has increasingly recognized the urgent need for sustainable development, encapsulated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations. The objectives of the study were to understand the Sustainable Development Goals and to discuss innovative teaching methods for promoting Sustainable Development Goals. The methodology applied in the present study is purely qualitative. Findings indicated that achieving the SDGs goals requires innovative and transformative approaches in education to empower current and future generations with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for sustainable living.
