CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF RESEARCH DESIGN

Abstract

A research design is a systematic method for carrying out various research activities. An understanding of research design objectives and the various methods used to achieve them is important in order to successfully complete the work. The main goal of research design is to keep researchers on the right track and not deviate from their purpose. Experimental studies are important for research studies because research design can be difficult for a project in terms of time, money and effort. The design research process is essential to product development. This can add to the total cost and schedule of the project, as well as the value gained from the observations captured during the design study. This helps in developing products that are not only usable but useful. In this research chapter, the author points out at the importance of research design and how to do it.
