This study examines the integration of technology into the educational framework for special needs students in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines. NEP-2020 advocates for a holistic, inclusive approach to education, aiming to address the diverse needs of students with disabilities. The policy emphasizes the use of assistive technologies and adaptive learning systems to support personalized learning and overcome educational barriers. It discusses the role of assistive tools such as screen readers and adaptive learning platforms, highlights the importance of accessible digital content, and underscores the need for ongoing professional development for educators. The study concludes that effective implementation of these technologies, supported by collaborative efforts among educators, parents, and developers, can significantly enhance the learning experience for special needs students, fostering a more inclusive and equitable educational environment. The integration of technology within NEP-2020's framework represents a crucial step towards realizing a truly inclusive and holistic educational system.Metrics
