Abstract

Mobile learning is described as the learning that occurs when the learner uses mobile technology to learn anytime anywhere. Hence, Mobile learning can bring learners from everywhere in order to learn, collaborate, and share ideas instantaneously through their personal computing devices that are accessible anywhere while on the move. Mobile learning has been employed in almost all stages of the education. M-learning in higher education is the main concern in this study. Mobile devices in all their types are lighter than using traditional books. A significant advantage is that Mobile learning makes it easy for students with disabilities to effectively participate in the learning process. In contrast, in the literature, some researchers indicated that mobile learning has brought some disadvantages. Current mobile devices have small screens, limited memory and limited battery life. However, these hardware limitations should disappear over time with the rapid improvement of quality of these components and the new technologies that support them. The results of the study reveals that there is no significant difference in the attitude of high school teachers towards mobile learning with respect to their gender (male and female). There is no significant difference in the attitude of high school teachers towards mobile learning belonging to different type of institution (i.e. government and private). No significant difference in the attitude of high school teachers towards M-learning on the basis of interactional effect of gender (male and female) and different type of institution (i.e. government and private) when attitude scores are taken as dependent variable.
