This reviewed paper tries to highlight the transforming role of teachers from a philosophical perspective. Although the widespread use of online learning is very familiar in today’s educational system, there found a big gap when the question of online education and the role of teachers is asserted. Therefore, the present paper attempts to answer the question: What are the perspectives and roles of postmodern teachers in supplementing online education as additional support for students? To answer the above question, a few philosophers’ viewpoints have been taken into consideration not only to justify the changing role of postmodern teachers but also to infer some arguments by emphasizing the importance of online education without replacing the mode of offline education.Metrics
