Digitalization is pivotal in fostering innovation and expanding knowledge, thereby boosting confidence in society. India is at the center of significant demographic and technological transformations, yet many indigenous communities remain unfamiliar with digitalization, creating a digital divide. This divide, characterized by inequalities in access to and use of digital technologies, has far-reaching economic, social, and political implications. Tribal communities, among the most disadvantaged, suffer exploitation due to illiteracy and lack of awareness. Addressing this divide requires solutions like digital literacy, digital inclusion, and educational programs initiated by the government and NGOs. Empowering tribals through digital literacy can significantly enhance their awareness of rights and improve educational outcomes. This paper explores the challenges tribal students face due to the digital divide, examines its causes and consequences, and proposes measures to bridge this gap, aiming for greater educational equity and societal inclusion.Metrics
