ADDRESSING CHALLENGES AND BARRIERS TO AI ADOPTION IN EDUCATION

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to revolutionize the education industry by offering individualized instruction, expedited administrative duties, and improved decision-making. But despite its promise, there are a lot of obstacles and hurdles to overcome before AI is widely used in education. This chapter explores these challenges by looking at problems with policy frameworks, financial restraints, teacher preparedness, ethical dilemmas, and technology infrastructure. Stakeholders may effectively integrate AI into educational settings and ensure that its benefits are realized while reducing potential concerns by developing policies based on knowledge of these obstacles.
