Abstract

The current chapter of the book, "The Emerging Retail Marketing Trends and Challenges in Saudi Arabian Market," analyzes the following five major trends: Retail business model, Purpose takes center stage, Changes in the cost of conducting business, a new trend in consumer behavior, and an increase in online shopping are all evident in Saudi Arabia's retail industry. It is clear that every retail decision-maker gives this some thought as they reorganize their stores to reflect the modern marketing landscape. Considering the combined expertise of professionals in the retail sector, the current trends and difficulties provide a clear picture of how the retail market environment is evolving and how the retail industry is growing over time. Due to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic, national borders are becoming closed and freezing, posing unprecedented challenges to all industry sectors worldwide, with the retail sector being most affected.
