IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY, EFFECTIVENESS, AND SUSTAINABILITY OF WEB BASED TECHNOLOGY-E-LEARNING

Abstract

Web Based Technology (WBT) or eLearning tool is a powerful tool to empower the students where it is not possible to reach physically. The effectiveness and efficiency of eLearning is only possible through the sustainability of the technology. E-Learning is self-paced, interactive, measurable and an extremely effective method which transcends the classroom teaching offering a range of options of virtual learning environments. E-learning has evolved from the basic computer assisted learning from the early days to its present form wherein all forms of dimensions of learning is offered as a part of the deal to the student.
