Abstract

A healthy body and a healthy mind are prerequisites of all meaningful existence, including students. To maintain mental peace and subjective well-being, one requires a healthy mind to effectively govern and value their social actions. Almost every aspect of a student’s life is affected by their mental health and well-being level. It determines whether one engages in certain activities or tasks, and also ensures the likelihood of completing those tasks or activities successfully. One of the important ways to develop a mentally healthy personality is to practice yoga and meditation, it provides students with peace of mind, energises and balances their bodies, ultimately leading to a sense of control, happiness, and well-being.
