Abstract

Yoga is a tremendous field containing various methods to rectify the problems in physical and mental health of human beings. Enhancing the psychological abilities of an individual through yoga practices makes life a successful one. Achievement is one of the major psychological factor plays an important role in individual success. So such achievement basically starts from academics. Each individual differs in their academic achievement. To enhance the academic performance, one of the basic yoga practices is highly supportive to the students. The yoga method connects the nerves, muscles and breathing exercise. It is technically called the Nerve –Muscle Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise (Narambu – Thasai Naar Moochu Paiyirchi). This yoga practice helps to improve the grasping ability, memory (storing and recalling capacity), and students can achieve good scores and gain knowledge in their academics.
