TIME PERIODIC ELECTRO-OSMOTIC FLOW AND HEAT TRANSFER IN THE PRESENCE OF MAGNETIC FIELD

Thermal transport characteristics of time-periodic electro-osmotic flow over a micro-channel in the presence of externally applied magnetic field are devoted in this study. It is assumed that the walls of the channel being oscillating. The closed-form expressions of the validated results in the asymptotic limits of stationary walls have been benchmarked in the literature. The electrical double layer combined with the Poisson-Boltzmann equation that is generated by the applied potential are accounted in the present study. We have derived an analytical expression for the velocity profile volumetric flow rate and wall shear stress.Published
