Abstract

Pollution is one of the foremost concerns of the world today. Farmers use a wide range of chemical fertilizers to boost production and control weeds and insect pests with the purpose of fulfilling the demand for farming products and to give food to the growing population. Synthetic fertilizers and pesticides have been utilized excessively, which has had a negative effect on both the human health and environment. As a consequence, the most important threat to humankind on the earth is the continuous degradation of environmental contents. The inequality between human requirements and resource sustainability was speed up by the fast expanding population in developing countries. The use of chemical fertilizers in cultivation has caused several health and environmental concerns while augmenting the agricultural productivity.
