Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the impact of online education on student’s behaviour during the Covid-19 pandemic in the district of Nadia, West Bengal.
Methodology: The study is based on primary data that has been collected through structured questionnaire using frequency percentages and exploratory factor analysis.
Findings: Exploratory factor analysis illustrates that four factors in terms of Smartphone, intention to use, self-efficacy, and usefulness are important for explaining the online education, which affect the students’ behaviour.
Conclusions: The Covid-19 pandemic has driven numerous changes in education sector, bringing online education because all schools, colleges and universities were closed during the lockdown period. These challenges have promoted policy makers to rethink how to improve online education in a more efficient manner.
