Abstract

This research delves into the profound wisdom of the Panchkosha model from the Taittiriya Upanishad, offering a holistic framework for understanding child psychology. The model delineates five sheaths encompassing physical, vital energy, mental, intellectual, and blissful aspects. The study combines Eastern philosophical wisdom with contemporary child psychology theories, exploring connections between developmental stages and psychological aspects. It emphasizes the interplay of physical, emotional, cognitive, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions in a child's growth. Furthermore, the paper discusses practical implications for effective parenting, education, and interventions, integrating ancient teachings with modern psychological frameworks to deepen understanding and promote holistic child well-being.
