Now, we are educating our girls but not giving them the opportunities to be independent. To know how much the women are empowered in our nation this particular study is undertaken. For this study an open-ended questionnaire was prepared and send to different women in different region. The questionnaire was kept open ended so that the women can share their opinion too. In the study three sections were made related to household empowerment, social empowerment and economic empowerment. From the study we found that in spite of taking part in decision making at homes and social decisions they are not well associated with taking economic decision.
