This research paper delves into the practical application of postcolonial perspectives within the historiography of India, with a particular focus on the seminal work of Jawaharlal Nehru, "The Discovery of India." The primary objective of this study is to explore how postcolonial perspectives are manifested in Nehru's text and to assess their impact on the reshaping of historical narratives. To achieve this objective, we employ a qualitative research design, employing content analysis as the research methodology. Through this analysis, we identify key themes, patterns, and changes in the narrative presented in "The Discovery of India" to reveal the practical implications of postcolonial perspectives.Metrics
