Abstract

The study is an attempt to examine Street vendors and Professionals perceptions towards online banking in Nilambur. Online banking has emerged as a convenient alternative to traditional in-person banking. However, Street vendors, who may have limited access to banking services and who primarily deal with physical currency, may express a higher level of doubt and distrust towards online banking platforms. On the other hand, professionals, such as office workers and business owners, are likely to have greater exposure to online banking due to their involvement in more formal economic activities. The study focuses on awareness level and satisfaction level of professionals and street vendors and the hypothesis is being rejected. Hence there is significant difference in the awareness and satisfaction level of professionals and street vendors. The study also analysed varous factors which influence the usage of online banking services.
