FACTORS CONTRIBUTED TO ALTERATIONS OF CLIMATE AND STEPS TAKEN TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE IN INDIA

Abstract

Climate change is not exactly a new idea in the scientific community. Although it is quite new to the layman who is still familiar with its tools and few are even surprised by its existence. Thousands of years of economic growth and industrialization have driven the way humans live on earth, and their greed to expand even at the expense of Mother Nature is what has brought us all to the brink of imminent destruction. Climate change is a long-term change in the climate patterns of a particular geographic location that can be caused by both human influence and human activity. All these elements together improve the ambient temperature and thus influence the ecological imbalance with the climatic conditions.
