Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence technology is changing how people live, work and play. Many parts of human activity are expected to be replaced or supplemented by newer forms of technology. AI has already shown its value in a variety of industries, including marketing by monitoring customer purchasing trends, self-driving cars for transportation and medical by helping surgeons do surgery. Many of the legal services currently performed by solicitors are projected to be supplanted by artificial intelligence in the near future and these approaches are already being applied in the courtroom. In addition to enhancing the courts' use of public expenditures by shortening judicial time, this may reduce the effect of judges' personal biases on decision-making. Naturally, no matter how intelligent they are, trained robots cannot replace human judges because AI is unfamiliar with legal vocabulary, a fair trial and a public hearing, it cannot be employed in all types of judicial processes. There are no particular regulations governing artificial intelligence in India. The study discusses how artificial intelligence is examined in Indian judicial processes.
