Abstract

The writing style of William Shakespeare’s originated from the common genre. Most commonly Shakespeare wrote in iambic pentameter 10 syllabic lines. Shakespeare was an English poet, actor and playwright, and also deliberated as greatest writer and dramatist of world in the context of English language. He wrote approximately 39 plays, 154sonnets, and 2 long narrative poems. He also wrote historical plays, tragedies, jokes including collaborations. He wrote many tragedies, but Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth and KingLear were considered his finest work in English language. Henry V and Richard III were the best historical plays of William Shakespeare. Henry Condell and John Hemings two fellow actors and friends of Shakespeare published his plays as a collection known as first folio in 1623. He wrote the smash hitplays of his day - Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet are the extreme popular. Shakespearebreathe his last about 400 years ago, but his works still celebrated by people all over the world. 23rd April was confirmedas “The International Day of the Book” by UNESCO. The three major types of literature are Poetry, Prose and Drama.
