The book chapter concludes that the amalgamation of theoretical approaches and the design of hybrid learning environments harness the transformative potential of online learning, shaping the future of education. The barriers faced in the development of blended learning environments are multifaceted and include technological support, selecting appropriate learning approaches, self-regulatory issues, and instructional design difficulties.
