Abstract

Higher studies become the most important part of our society and highly qualified young people are those who will nurture the future generation. So it is our responsibility to make education lifelong and they should have the positive outlook towards themselves, others, children and the environment, the life inside. To make learning joyful we can follow collaborative and interdisciplinary approach in learning. Collaborative and Interdisciplinary learning enhances the affective aspect ( the process of acquiring knowledge, skills and attitude through emotional engagement), cognitive learning ( it is a mental process of gaining knowledge and understanding through the senses, experience and thought) and critical thinking( it is the ability to effectively analyze information and form a judgement) so contemporary education must provide pupils or students with the efficiencies and comprehension to involve in interdisciplinary studies. Many higher education institutions have emphasized on interdisciplinary teaching and learning and pupils or students are gaining vast knowledge from interdisciplinary education.
