ENHANCEMENT OF TEACHER EDUCATION BY ADOPTING NEW IDEAS

Abstract

Education plays an important role in developing a Nation. It is education which enhances the standard of living and the progress of human civilization; it is not possible for any Nation to move forward without proper enhancement of education. For the enhancement of education we must take well being initiatives in each and every educational institution. It becomes more important when we consider the well being initiatives of higher education institutions. In this paper the researcher has tried to find out the well being initiatives taken by higher education institutions specifically in teachers’ training institutions, universities and NCTE. The present study has been conducted in the district of Nadia, West Bengal. Few teachers’ training institutions have been chosen randomly for collection of data. The researcher has collected data from primary and secondary sources for conducting the study, besides this direct interview of teachers’ and students have been taken.
