Abstract

We are living in a time of intellectual globalization, where everything is rapidly changing. The underlying law of nature is change; this change offers a variety of new options, and combines with new trends. Similarly, innovations in teaching methodologies and designs also need to change. Innovative methods for forming educational collaborations have the potential to better equip graduates for life after graduation by showing them how to apply and make connections between freshly acquired knowledge and actual-life scenarios. In order achieve such goals at first the modification of the pedagogy is required. India has worked hard for many years after gaining its independence to create an organized educational system that is accessible to all. However, due to a dearth of creative teaching methods, the country is lacking in competent professionals and inventors. With the introduction of the NEP 2020 and the 2005 NCF, innovative and skill-based teaching has been implemented in secondary and higher education in recent years. Thus, the outdated method of learning by rote memorization has been replaced by innovative pedagogy. This essay aims to comprehend the concept of pedagogical innovation, its significance in the educational system, and the NEP 2020's recommendations about its use within actual settings.
