ENHANCING EDUCATORS' SKILLS IN THE EFFECTIVE USE OF AI FOR TEACHING

Abstract

Indian society has been changed after covid, now a days it is moving by digital approaches, in the academic field, economic field, medical field, sports, in market, shopping mall, media everywhere AI or artificial intelligence was applied. In the post-covid period the whole world understands the importance of online or digital learning approach. To build up digital Bharat the Indian NEP 2020 emphasize on the AI related skill of the teachers and the students. In this present study the researcher discusses about the several AI-base skills for the teacher educators and their importance. And try to find out the effectiveness of AI skills on teaching- learning situation, for that she took a group of teachers of school level, one is experimental group and another is control group. In the experimental group the school teachers have been trained by AI and machine learning, they become techno savvy or skilled. And in the control group the teachers were not trained by any AI-based learning strategies. In the experimental group and control group the investigator took 20 school teachers of different schools. The experimental group of teachers taught their students with the several AI-base skills, and control group of teachers taught by traditional methods. After one semester the achievement of the students was measured by the result of board examination, and found that the marks of the students of experimental group of teachers was higher than the control group of teachers. In this way she tries to prove the effectiveness of AI-skill of the teacher educators in teaching.
