CYBER CRIME IN THE TEACHING LEARNING SCENARIO: AWARENESS IS KEY TO SECURITY

Abstract

The use of internet is indispensable nowadays. Technology has advanced a lot, communication has developed. However, today the world in general and education society specifically is facing the increase of cybercrimes. Cyber crimes are posing threat to different educational institution across the world and millions of people are victim of cybercrimes because of their ignorance and lack of knowledge about cyber crimes. From the serious nature of cyber crimes it is a need for a common understanding of such illegal activities to deal with it successfully throughout the world. This study intends to find out the different types of cyber crimes prevalent in the society and how to deal with them.
