The world has entered the era of artificial intelligence with a growing fantasy assuming a new chapter in human development. Conversely, AI has raised debates amid some quarters across the globe as soon as it has been used as an alternative to human intelligence. However, with the advent of the fourth industrial revolution technologies have influenced life and livelihoods significantly chasing millions of people with fear of replacing most jobs and leaving many unemployed (Alam, 2023). Undeniably, artificial intelligence can process and analyze large amount of data but the question is pertinent to raise; is it able to match human intuition, empathy and critical thinking skills which are a must for replacing human intelligence. Studies have claimed that without developing cognitive abilities inherent in every human being artificial intelligence is a big zero with no ability to deal with unstructured data and to make decision in complex situations. In many cases, it creates more risk to expose misleading data and information bringing more confusions than authenticity (Alshater, 2022).Metrics
