A STUDY OF GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF DAIRY INDUSTRY IN NAGPUR

Abstract

This research paper explores the growth and development of the dairy industry in Nagpur, India. It aims to analyze the factors contributing to the rapid growth and development of the dairy sector and understand the challenges faced by dairy farmers and industry stakeholders. The research methodology includes primary data collection through interviews with dairy farmers, industry experts, and consumers of Dairy products, as well as secondary data analysis of government records and reports. The study finds that favourable government policies, technological advancements, and increasing consumer demand have played significant roles in the growth of the dairy industry in Nagpur. However, challenges such as lack of infrastructure, limited access to credit, and inadequate marketing facilities make it difficult the full potential of the dairy sector.
