A significant percentage of India's gross production comes from the agriculture sector. Despite this, modern agriculture is facing more and more challenges. The depletion of soil fertility, food quality, food taste, and other factors are evident results of agriculture that relies heavily on synthetic fertilizers and herbicides. One potential benefit of organic agriculture could be to mitigate these negative impacts. In India in general and Vadodara in particular, there needs to be more information regarding organic farming. Thus, the main goal of the current study was to create a reliable database on the beliefs and knowledge of farmers who practice organic farming in this hill state of North India, as well as their demographic profile. It was decided to choose certain blocks, villages, and districts via purposeful random sampling. For the study, a random sample of 72 farmers who practice organic farming was chosen.Metrics
