Abstract

The reality of today's workplace is that stress is a universal and inescapable impediment to organizational and individual productivity. Stress affects workers in a wide range of businesses and organizations. As a consequence of a multitude of pressures, bank personnel are among the most stressed. Anxiety, depression, work-life balance, and other health conditions including headaches, obesity, and cardiac arrests are all connected to stress, which has a negative impact on the overall performance of an organization as well as on the quality of the work done by its employees. Physiological and psychological stress is examined in this research, as well as the relationship between work performance and stress. Using a survey technique, private bank executives and non-executives in India completed self-administered questions. Work performance at the company studied was shown to be heavily influenced by physiological and psychological stressors. The work includes a discussion, its ramifications, and a conclusion.
