Abstract

Emotional intelligence refers to an individual's capacity to recognize and respond to their own emotions, as well as those of others. However, a person's capacity for decision-making extends beyond their ability to make the appropriate option when faced with adversity. He stated that emotional intelligence is just one of two types of intelligence, which are known as interpersonal and intrapersonal, and that they are not mutually exclusive. According to him, a person's many intelligences work in concert to help them solve problems and make decisions more effectively.
